Connect

Where there is faith, there is undoubtedly mystery…think about it. I have always enjoyed “a good mystery,” so one day I decided to study the context of every time “mystery” is mentioned in Scripture. It was interesting to read insight into the mystery of Christ Himself as well as our being members of one body…in fact His body.

God wants us to be connected. By “speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work” (Ephesians 4:15-16). So instead of simply writing, “Please connect with me on this blog—I’d love to hear from you!” (which is true), I encourage us to ponder the practical yet deeply spiritual significance of connecting.

However you were brought to this site, it is no accident you are here, reading these words. God has something for you…perhaps a word of encouragement, a morsel of His wisdom, or maybe just the knowledge that you are not alone. I am here as a friend to connect with, and more importantly your “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6) is with you right now to listen.

So grab a cup of tea and enjoy browsing what God has led me to write. I pray He inspires you to speak the truth in love as you connect in your own relationships. And please do write back…I really would love to hear from you!
