Friend, I know that sometimes in grief there are no words to say, no words to pray. It can feel like there’s nothing to do, or that you’d even want to do. We feel lost and alone. But in this sorrow and wilderness I have found music to be such a gift: we don’t need to say or pray or do anything—we can simply receive.
If and when the time feels right, these songs of loss, lament, and love—which I have prayerfully curated—will be here for you. You may also find them as a playlist on Spotify under Songs of Loss, Lament, and Love by Laurie Geisz. Total listening time is one hour and seventeen minutes.
I pray that even one may soothe and encourage your heart, mind, and soul.
God bless you, friend, as you simply receive.
